01 — About

A Voice
For Capitola

For fifteen years, I have dedicated my career to architecture and design in the place I love most — Capitola. I grew up on this coast, built my professional life here, and since 2019 have proudly served on the Capitola Planning Commission — bringing a design perspective directly into the civic process.

Capitola deserves thoughtful leadership — leadership that listens, that plans with intention, and that never loses sight of what makes this village extraordinary. I am running for City Council to bring that same care and precision I bring to every project to the decisions that shape our neighborhoods, our coastline, and our future.

My work on the Planning Commission has shown me exactly what is possible when leadership is thoughtful, prepared, and truly invested in this community. I believe in a Capitola that is beautiful, accessible, and built to last — for the families who live here, the businesses that define us, and the generations who will inherit what we build today.

What I
Stand For

Six priorities. One commitment: a Capitola that works for everyone who lives, works, and plays here.

01

Coastal Access & Environment

Protecting Capitola's coastline for future generations through smart sea-level rise planning, habitat preservation, and sustainable beach access for all residents.

02

Local Business & Economy

Supporting the small businesses and entrepreneurs who define our village's character — with streamlined permitting, fair policies, and a vibrant year-round economy.

03

Housing & Affordability

Creating pathways for workforce housing and affordable units that allow Capitola's essential workers, teachers, and families to live in the community they serve.

04

Public Safety

Investing in a well-resourced police force, fire department, and community wellness programs so every neighborhood in Capitola is safe and supported.

05

Infrastructure & Streets

Modernizing aging infrastructure, improving walkability and bike connectivity, and making smart capital investments that keep our city functioning beautifully.

06

Community Events & Culture

Celebrating what makes Capitola magical — its art, music, festivals, and neighborhood spirit — with programming that brings residents together all year long.

03 — Endorsements
